We carry a large selection of art supplies such as: paint, brushes, canvas, cradled boards, canvas boards, raw canvas, oil paint, acrylic paint, gouache, watercolours, varnish, painting mediums, colored pencils, chalk pastels, oil pastels, charcoal, screen printing supplies, sketchbooks, calligraphy supplies, inks, chalk paint, watercolor paper, printmaking paper, drawing paper, tracing paper, easels, modeling clay, textile paints, and dyes. Iron Oxide Art Supplies first opened its doors in January of 2014 in the historic #2 Firehall Building in downtown Nanaimo but its roots go back much further as the proprietor, Willow Friday, opened her first store, House of Indigo Boutique, back in 2002.
